W/E Troll Farmer
Hey there,
I decided after playing the W/Mo troll farmer that something had to be done about the speed at which warriors kill trolls, so I devised this build. Enjoy !
Skills:
Sprint (Core)
Whirlwind (Prophecies)
Bonnettis (Prophecies)
Armour of Earth (Core)
Sliver Armour (Factions)
Cyclone axe (Core)
Gladiators Defence {E} (Prophecies)
On Your Knees (Factions)
Equipment:
Armour:
I use Gladiators arms, chest and legs and ascalon feet. I use a Tacticians helm from droks with +1 to tactics. I have a superior absorption rune in my chest piece and on the legs a superior vigor rune.
Weapons:
(1)Kannaxais Axe and Sunreach or you can use any +30 health axe and -5, +30 health tactics shield.
(2)Dragoncrest Axe and Grognars defender or any perfect vampiric axe and stance shield with tactics rq.
Attributes:
Tactics: 11 + 1 + 3
Earth: 12
Air: 5
The rest of the atts are split between Strength and Axe or left.
Strategy:
1)Exit Droknars by the Talus Chute portal, then head left up slope, hugging wall, until you get to cave entrance. If you encounter mobs try to stick on slither armour and sprint. During this part of the run make sure you have weapon set 1 activated.
2)Once at the cave lure the trolls into one big group. When surrounded, put on Gladiators defence and then armour of earth. Press 'C' to target the closest troll, F2 to switch to weapon set 2, then space to begin attacking.
3)Next activate cyclone axe, so that bonnettis is charged. It is possible to fit into 2 cyclone axes before Glads ends. Cyclone will give you adren and keep your health up, as well doin a small amount of damage so use it as many times as you can. As Glads ends, switch to bonnettis, letting your energy recharge and making sure that on your knees is charged. Next use Whirlwind, then on your knees, then Glads, then Slither armour.
4)Repeat step 3, accept that rather than using slither armour, use armour of earth, thus refreshing its duration.
5)Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until trolls are dead. Using this method should mean you cycle through steps 3 and 4 twice.
n.b ensure that you are always attacking a troll, so that you may gain adrenaline when not using cyclone. This helps after you use bonnettis to top up on your knees. When the troll you are attacking reaches low health, hit tab to cycle through the other trolls to find another suitable target then hit space.
Author Comments:
Used properly this build I devised kills the trolls in around 40-45 seconds. I hope you enjoy it. Also I would like to note it is possible to kill the trolls without a vampiric axe, but it is reccomended that you take one for safetys sake.

Whilst initially testing the w/e troll farming build I went through several iterations. One of these included using doylak signet and watch yourself. After looking through the vermin skill set I found a use for this build again, albeit slightly modded.
Skills:
Sprint (Core)
Whirlwind (Prophecies)
Bonnettis (Prophecies)
Doylak Signet (Prophecies)
Heal Signet (Core)
Cyclone axe (Core)
Gladiators Defence {E} (Prophecies)
On Your Knees (Factions)
Equipment:
Armour:
I use Gladiators arms, chest and legs and ascalon feet. I use a Tacticians helm from droks with +1 to tactics. I have a superior absorption rune in my chest piece and on the legs a superior vigor rune.
Weapons:
(1)Razorstone axe and Grognars defender or any perfect Adrenal axe and stance shield with tactics rq.
Attributes:
Tactics: 12 + 1
Strength: 11 + 1 + 3
Rest of atts in Air.
Strategy:
1)Exit Senji's Corner into Xaquang Skyway, take the left path and follow it left until you find the first mob of vermin. Aggro the mob and carry on the way you were going until you see a second group at the base of a set of stairs.
2)You should now be surrounded. Activate doylak sig, then Gladiators defence. Press 'C' to target the closest Vermin, then space to begin attacking.
3) Next Activate cyclone axe, then use heal sig, if bonnettis is not fully charged use cyclone again. As Glads ends, switch to bonnettis, letting your energy recharge and making sure that on your knees is charged. Next use Whirlwind, then on your knees, then Glads.
4) Repeat step 3 until all vermin are dead. It should be noted that it is possible to fit the following underneath glads cyclone, heal sig, cyclone, heal sig. Remember to refresh doylak! As a rule of thumb attempt to refresh doylak as it finishes thus giving you constant cover, but never cast it inside bonnettis.
5) Move onto the next set of 8 vermin and use the steps 2 to 4 to kill them.
6) Fighting in the boss area can be a little bit tricky. Try and pull a few groups before taking on the boss mob, using the tactics described in steps 2 to 4. When you finally come to fighting the boss and his chronies I advise trying to heal twice inside glads (since you'll suffer from Seeping Wound), but ensure you keep bonnettis up. Never cast a heal sig inside bonnettis unless you have On your knees charged.
7) Once the bosses chronies are dead, a change of tactics are required, since cyclone axe is no longer useful. The main issue is adrenaline and when to heal. I've found that it's best to charge up bonnettis inside glads, then hit bonnettis as soon as it charges, wait for on your knees to charge, the heal sig, whirlwind, on your knees glads. It is possible to miss a bonnetis out in the sequence as long as it it used the following turn. This gives one the oppurtunity to heal up inside glads. This is difficult to pull off, but possible (see attached pic). You should repeat the following combo until the boss is dead!
HAPPY HUNTING!
Author Comments:
This is simply a modified troll hunting build, with doylak sig included to remove the effect of knockdown interupts. You'll notice in the image provided I took disrupting chop along with me. However I never used the skill, so this skill is of no import in the build. Any comments on this build are most welcome.

Two builds and no one has anything to say??? Come on people, as Jonny 5 would say, input, input!!!
*Update* I've recently edited the vermin build, swapping air for axe. The new atts that I have been testing are as follows:
Strength: 10 + 1 + 3
Tactics: 11 + 1
Axe: 10
I've also added Signet of Strength (Factions) instead of sprint.

Awsome man,I use a build very similar, but instead of bonettis, I bring Watch Yourself. For energy, I just use a Wing's Axe (zealous, fortitude). Constant glads defence ftw.

@ ubermancer, ohhh I get it his avatar pic thing. Lol took me like 5 min. to understand where the glyph came from. So what are drops like? Are trolls still worth farming, and what about vermin? I hear vermin drop well, and never bothered trolls because they seemed to not be paying up lol. I haven't gotten the chance to try out vermin because i can't get past naphui with my war, it's getting harder and harder just to finish up cantha now lol

All I can say is that this build rocks some hard stuff guys. I can easily take out the whole cave with no problems. But beware, it will take a while before the timing will be perfect and I stronglt recomend a vampiric axe.
Neways AWESOME BUILD

Trinity, I myself have had drops from the cave including a max dmg low rq fellblade, a 20/20 sword mod and 3 black dyes. I also get a lot of keys which I use for chestrunning. However I do agree the area is overfarmed so drops may be somewhat reduced. With regards to Vermin they can drop celestial weapons, but I havent spent too much time farming them as yet.
Pappayaponta, thanks for the input, greatly appreciated. Concerning your choice of weapons, I must say the build is easier with a vamp axe, but it isn't by any means impossible without.
*On another note I have recently edited the builds, linking all the listed skills to a given skillset i.e. Core, Factions or Prophecies.*

Btw, do you usually go for any bosses w/ this build?

A Monk with SB can own the Trolls in like less than 15 sec? And the VwK rit in less than 30.. So 35 aint the best.. But still a good Build none the less..
Is a older guide for the same consept.. Made Pre Absorbtion nerf.

Well sorry to the above poster, but I should have said that I didn't know warriors could pwn em that fast...putting emphasis on the fact that the TC build and other Glad's Defense ones suck compared to this. They overdo the healing part.

Very nice. But I'll stick with Triple Chopper.
My build drops all the trolls right as Shield Stance is recharged [45 sec] then Smoosh about 10sec after that.Good enought for me

As far as I know there's not, this is the fastest WARRIOR build.
I think my W/Rt build does it in around 55 secs - going to try this out.

W/R Apply Poison Farmer
Anyway, this is a nice W/E build. I just tested the vermin version, which is better imho, against the trolls.
